Bernard-Marie Koltès
Swiss premiere
Director: Andreas Herrmann
Costume: Birgit Künzler
Lighting: Peter Weiss
Dramaturgy: Heike Dürscheid
The well-known Shakespeare material in a newly discovered theatrical version from the estate of the French playwright Bernard-Marie Koltès. Koltès concentrates on the story of the four main characters: Hamlet, Ophelia, Claudius and Gertrud, who are entangled in the clutches of their disjointed world. Virtuosoly he plays with the famous tragedy and adds it to a new whole.
